Preheat oven to 350F. Grease two substantial weighty cookie trays or position silicone baking sheets on trays.
Mix butter and sugar in large bowl till fluffy. Include orange juice and egg and blend until nicely blended. Mix dry ingredients in a big mixing cup (will save dishes) Stir flour mixture into creamed butter and sugar combination, then fold in nuts, fruit and chocolate.
Fall dough by the tablespoonful on to cookie trays. Bake till golden, about 15 minutes. Awesome cookies on trays for five minutes, then go to wire cooling rack. Can be stored in airtight container for a single 7 days (if they make it that prolonged.)
